ZJTIE Establishing New Vocational Education Links with Pakistan

On November 7th, a delegation from the UNEVOC Centre at Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics (ZJTIE), led by Party Committee member Mr. Ye Linliang, participated in the China-Pakistan Digital Education Promotion Conference in Weifang, Shandong. The Education Counselor of the Pakistani Embassy in China, the Chief Operating Officer of Punjab's Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, other Pakistani officials, and nearly a hundred vocational college representatives from across the nation attended this conference.

At the conference, ZJTIE signed a China-Pakistan Digital Skills Talent Development Cooperation Agreement with the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority of Punjab, Pakistan, confirming the objectives for the international promotion of our school's e-commerce national teaching resource database and the establishment of the Pakistan Digital Trade Silk Road College.

Li Xiaoyang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, delivered the keynote speech titled "Adhering to Open Education and Building a New Pattern of International Exchange and Cooperation," introducing the experience and practices of the school's internationalization efforts, which was highly recognized by the delegates.

Previously, relying on the China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance platform, ZJTIE has conducted multiple rounds of in-depth negotiations with Pakistani counterparts on the construction of the Silk Road College in Pakistan. The successful signing with the Punjab Vocational Education Authority marks a new step for our school in expanding the construction of the Silk Road College, opening up new frontiers for going abroad, and creating a new paradigm for TVET internationalization.
