    ZJTIE Attends UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre Meeting

    From September 28 to 30, Ye Linliang, Member of the ZJTIE Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department (Talent Office), led a delegation to attend the UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre meeting organized by The Education University of Hong Kong, where they discussed future collaboration plans.

    During the meeting, representatives from ZJTIE engaged in in-depth exchanges with delegates from other Chinese UNEVOC Centres (including the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, The Education University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Polytechnic University, and Shaanxi Polytechnic University) to jointly explore future cooperation directions.


    Ren Zhanying, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, delivered a speech at the meeting. He emphasized that Chinese UNEVOC Centres should strengthen their connections, showcase best practices through case studies in open online databases, export digital resources for vocational education and training to Belt and Road countries and developing nations, and focus on aligning vocational education with industry needs.

    Ye Linliang delivered a keynote speech, highlighting ZJTIE's experience and future work plans as a UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre. He also held in-depth discussions with faculty members from The Education University of Hong Kong on topics related to artificial intelligence and educational innovation.

    During the conference, ZJTIE representatives thoroughly studied outstanding cases and practices in the field of technical and vocational education and training from other Chinese UNEVOC Centres. Together with representatives from these centres, they identified common directions and plans for the upcoming period. Through this participation, ZJTIE further leveraged its role as a UNEVOC Centre, strengthened ties with other centres, and enhanced its capacity to extend the centre’s influence, thereby boosting the institution’s international visibility.
