    ZJTIE Holds 2026 Graduation Ceremonies for Sino-UK and Sino-Canada Joint Programmes

    From May 18 to 19, Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics (ZJTIE) held the 2026 graduation ceremonies for the China-UK joint programme in Modern Logistics Management and the China-Canada joint programme in Financial Management. Attendees included ZJTIE President Ke Konglin, President Larry Rosia of Saskatchewan Polytechnic (Canada), ZJTIE Vice President Nie Hua, Vice President Carla Gethin of the City of Glasgow College (CoGC, UK), along with key officials from the Foreign Affairs Office, the School of Modern Logistics, the School of Digital Finance, representatives of Chinese and international faculty, and all graduating students from the joint programmes.

    In his address, President Ke Konglin extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the graduates. He encouraged them to set lofty aspirations and keep pace with the times, integrating their personal ambitions into the great cause of national rejuvenation. He urged them to broaden their international perspectives, forge ahead through lifelong learning, and stay abreast of knowledge transformation in the digital and intelligent age. He also called on them to bravely break boundaries and be pioneers in cross-border integration by putting into practice the concepts of Finance + Technology and Finance + Intelligence, striving to become virtuous, competent, and internationally competitive talents for the new era.

    Vice President Nie Hua, in his speech, expressed the hope that graduates would become well-rounded logistics talents for the new era, excelling in morality, diligence, and ambition.

    President Larry Rosia of Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Vice President Carla Gethin of CoGC, in their respective addresses, encouraged graduates to value lifelong learning, stay proactive, and achieve success on their new life paths. They also expressed gratitude to both Chinese and international faculty and staff for their dedication to the cooperative programmes.

    Graduate representatives Luo Yiting and Yao Jianing, speaking at the ceremonies on behalf of their fellow graduates, thanked ZJTIE for its cultivation and pledged to live up to expectations and strive actively in their respective professional fields. Chinese faculty representatives Mao Lurong and Chen Yu encouraged graduates to keep working hard, maintain a passion for learning and innovation throughout their future careers, and become versatile talents with international vision and practical abilities.

    As a significant achievement of ZJTIE's international education efforts, the institute launched its joint programmes with CoGC (UK) in 2015 and with Saskatchewan Polytechnic (Canada) in 2021, cumulatively training over 500 high-calibre international talents. Looking ahead, ZJTIE will continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of its existing programmes, actively expand access to high-quality international educational resources, and steadily advance the high-quality development of its education opening-up to the world.
