Temasek Polytechnic Study Tour Group Visits ZJTIE

September 15, 24 teachers and students from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore（a UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre）, visited ZJTIE for a study tour. The Foreign Affairs Office, in collaboration with the School of Digital Technology, the School of Cultural and Creative Art (School of Entrepreneurship), and the School of Modern Logistics, meticulously planned and organized a series of substantive and diverse activities.

Dr. Wang Junyan from the School of Digital Technology delivered a lecture titled A Brief History of Artificial Intelligence: From Perceptron to Autonomous Agents, providing a systematic introduction to the development and future prospects of AI technology and offering the Singaporean teachers and students a vivid lesson.

With the guidance of Ms Yang Yin from the School of Cultural and Creative Art (School of Entrepreneurship), the teachers and students from TP personally experienced China's woodblock printing technique, creating vivid woodblock prints and appreciating the charm of traditional Chinese cultural art.

At the training site of the School of Modern Logistics, Mr. Ye Chao gave a detailed introduction to the working principles and industry application scenarios of various logistics equipment. The Singaporean teachers and students experienced advanced logistics technologies such as low-altitude drones up close, gaining a firsthand sense of the intelligence and technological sophistication of China's modern logistics.

This study tour integrated traditional Chinese culture with modern technology, leaving the Singaporean teachers and students full of praise for China's development achievements and cultural charm, and giving high recognition to ZJTIE 's educational strength and philosophy.

In the future, ZJTIE will continue to uphold an open and inclusive educational philosophy, continuously enhance its level of international education, persistently advance the Famous Stone project strategy for vocational education going global, spread ZJTIE's experience and wisdom, and make greater contributions to deepening China-Singapore educational exchange and cooperation.
