On January 18, 2021, hosted by Ministry of Education of China, ZJTIE had undertaken the 2020 “Chinese Bridge Online Delegation” program with the theme of “Study Tour to China Vocational Education”, with 149 participants from Malaysia, Canada and Morocco. In the opening ceremony, Prof. Tony Zheng, director of External Affairs Office and International Education Center, sent warm welcome to the participants and briefly introduced the history and characteristic of our school, and sincerely invited them to experience the charm of Chinese vocational education in the post pandemic era.
This online group project is organically composed by three models including live classes, online interactions and video lessons, and characterized with fundamental Chinese plus Vocational Skills. It helps the students familiarize traditional Chinese festivals, Hangzhou West Lake, Hangzhou Cuisine Chinese folksongs, Chinese handicraft, Chinese medicine, and Chinese tea art and cross-border e-commerce through learning basic Chinese via 13 lectures. It is aimed to utilize the Chinese language as a bridge to connect hearts from various backgrounds and discover the glamour of Chinese vocational education.
This project attempts to change the conventional direct exchange pattern intoonlinetraining programs amid regular epidemic prevention and control measures. It is aimed to provide an opportunity for the foreign students to take a glance of Chinese culture and vocational education.
