TVET and Career Guidance boosts a new start for ZJTIE students

On Oct 16, the UNESCO specialist for education, Robert Parua had presented a virtual lecture for the representatives of the students from the year group 2021, on the topic of TVET-Career development and Skills requirements. The lecture was hosted by the external affair office of ZJTIE online.

In his lecture, Robert had addressed the importance of career guidance on UNESCO 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. In his lecture, he had stood on the students’ point of view and made career plan during the college time, pointing out the essential skills and correct mentality that could help to seize the critical job opportunities. He also highly recognized the role of ZJTIE and the government on the efforts of boosting career development for TVET students.

The students responded actively on the Q&A session afterwards, exploring more in the field career planning and information on UNESCO Career Guidance. In the feedback, they are looking forward to having similar lectures and seminars to help them establish and expand an international vision on their study and future career.
