On the afternoon of 24th April, the graduation ceremony of the 2024th Sino-Malaysia Joint Project was held in the International Building. Chen Yunfeng, Chairman of Oneworld Hanxin College Malaysia, and Chen Sujia, Executive Dean, Ye Linliang, member of the Party Committee of ZJTIE, Li Xiaoyang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Wang Yonghua, Dean of Commerce Circulation School, and representatives of the two schools attended the graduation ceremony.
Michelle Lai Yuen Yeng, the graduates' representative, reviewed her study and life at ZJTIE and expressed her gratitude to her two alma maters, Oneworld Hanxin College and ZJTIE in her speech. Ms. Huang Yi, head of the cross-border e-commerce project, congratulated the international students on their successful graduation and hoped that they would apply what they had learned and make persistent efforts to create new achievements.
Afterwards, Prof. Ye Linliang and Chairman Chen Yunfeng presented the diplomas to the graduates.
After the graduation ceremony, the Chinese and Malaysian sides held a consultation meeting on joint projects, and had in-depth exchanges on optimizing the cooperation program, deepening the content of cooperation and expanding the areas of cooperation, and achieved a broad consensus.
As the teaching point of our provincial Silk Road College, Oneworld Hanxin College of Malaysia is co-organizing a joint project for Malaysian international students majoring in cross-border e-commerce with ZJTIE since 2021. The international students will complete 1.5 years of study and practice in ZJTIE after completing the first 1.5 years of study in Malaysia, and the graduates of the class of 2024 will be the first graduates of the joint project. Relying on this graduation ceremony, the two sides of China-Malaysia cooperation discussed the future direction of cooperation and vision of cooperation in depth, which effectively promoted the quality improvement of the joint project, injected new momentum, and added new vitality for the high-quality development of opening up to the outside world of ZJTIE.
