The first stage of the 14th International conference on “Lifelong Learning: Continuous Education for Sustainable Development”, organised by Leningrad State University (named after A.S.Pushkin) together with UNESCO, the World Committee for Lifelong Learning (Paris, France), UNESCO, Institute of Strategy and Education Theory, UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), National Academy of Education, UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre (Hong Kong) and other international organisations took place in St. Petersburg, Russia between 2nd and 6th June 2016.
Mr. Zheng Gangqiang, a representative of ZJTIE, was invited to give a presentation titled “Interactive development of vocational education and community education under lifelong education system: The experience of China.” at the plenary session. The presentation mainly analyzes features, current conditions and existing problems of Chinese vocational education and community education, and proposes suggestions to promote interactive development of vocational education and community education.
