The 2018 International Training Class on Technology Entrepreneurship and the International Seminar on Cross-Border E-Commerce Applied Talents was launched in our school on April 23rd. More than 20 experts from 16 countries that is participating in the “One Belt, One Road” will receive a three-week training session and discuss related topics. Dr. Rupert McLean, the founding director of the UNESCO Vocational Education Center, Ge Weimin, deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Mechanical and Electrical Group Corporation (Zhejiang Vocational Education Group), and Chen Weijing, deputy director of the Leading Group Office of the China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive Experimental, Qi Yan, general manager of Zhejiang Foreign Service Company, and Shao Qingxiang, president of our school, and Huang Chunlin, vice president, attended the opening ceremony.
As the Contact Center of UNESCO Vocational Education and Training , our school took the lead in hosting this training. 21 vocational education experts from 16 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Fiji, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia participated in this training program of our school. The trainees come from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor and the university and the quality is high and the influence is great, which makes this training a high standard. The training aims to teach technology entrepreneurship and e-commerce related knowledge to help participants embed this knowledge in their countries’ vocational education and training programs. The training content is divided into several parts including training, business internship, campus visit experience, e-commerce training, etc. And the training will end on May 12.
As the host, our school also cooperated with China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Zhejiang Foreign Service Company and Hangzhou Zhongzhi Cross-border Electric Merchants Port to hold 2018 International Seminar on Cross-Border E-Commerce Applied Talents from April 23 to 26. The International Seminar invited Dr. Rupert Maclean, the founding director of the UNESCO Vocational Education Center, Ju Chunhua, Ph.D. supervisor of Zhejiang Gongshang University, Chen Weijing, deputy director of the Leading Group Office of China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone, and other representatives from well-known e-commerce companies such as Alibaba, Amazon, eBay to share educational resources and to discuss related topics which help to meet the needs of the growth of global cross-border trade.
