On June 18, Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics(ZJTIE), a UNEVOC centre, together with Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZGH), organnized a series of activities to join its counterparts around the globe and celebrated World Youth Skills Day where skills in action were captured, with lectures delivered by nation-level skill master on youth empowerment and entrepreneurship in TVET. The event also centred on youth employment and tends to promote equity and gender equality and facilitating transition to sustainable economies and societies.
ZGH, listed in Top 500 companies in the world, consisits of Geely Auto Group, Volvo Car Group, Geely Technology Group, Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group and Mitime Group, and has over 120,000 employees including roughly 42,000 foreign employees from over 40 countries.

Top leaders of ZJTIE, including Professor Luo Guanglin, Chairman of schoolboard, Professor Huang Chunlin (Chandler), vice president, and Professor Nie Hua, vice president together with the professionals of the departments related attended the celebration.
